ATÈR Studio is a practice for architecture and interior design. We work on private houses, apartments, workplaces and public buildings.
Every project starts with a conversation and a site visit. We listen for what the client needs and what the place offers, and we keep both in view until the last detail is drawn.
We work in a small team on purpose. The people who sketch the first idea are the same people who choose the stone, check the joinery drawings and stand on site with the builder.
Approach
The site comes first
Before we draw, we look: at the light through the day, the views, the neighbours and the ground. The building answers what we find.
Few materials, used well
Stone, timber, plaster, concrete. We keep the palette short and the details careful, so that rooms feel calm and age with grace.
One hand, inside and out
We design the architecture and the interior together. The wall, the window and the chair beside it belong to the same idea.
